Set within Wimbledon’s historic Merton Abbey Mills and just a short walk from
the River Wandle, where the only working watermill in the South-west of London still
turns, our trio of cafe, bar and carvery is wonderfully situated for enjoying breakfast,
Sunday lunch or a couple of quiet drinks by the river. Each of our venues has comfortable
inside and outside seating areas and we can cater for any special events or celebrations.

THE WATERMILL CAFE
Our cafe is a homely place to meet with friends and family, either during the week or at weekends. For decades we have been serving classic breakfast and lunch dishes to our loyal customers and the market traders at Merton Abbey Mills.
THE WATERMILL BAR
Our newest addition to the Watermill umbrella. A brand new, traditional bar serving wonderful lagers, ales, ciders and spirits. Inside and outside seating, this is the perfect venue for a few quiet drinks by the river or a group catch-up.
THE WATERMILL CARVERY
The only dedicated Sunday lunch establishment in Wimbledon. Our popular carvery offers you delicious roasted meats, fresh vegetable sides and homemade gravy and condiments. Eat-in or take-away using our JustEat or Deliveroo service.
